Wood River Library Survey
The Wood River Maltman Memorial Library recently received a $338,650 donation from the Iams Trust to improve the library, pushing the building fund total to $395,111. In order to propel the library into the next century, we need your help in deciding the best use of the money.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below to provide input on the two options being considered to increase the size of the library, as well as, input on the materials, programs, technologies, and spaces you would like to see in our library.
To increase the size of the library, there are currently two options being considered.
1. Please read the two choices below thoroughly and choose one:
Add on to the current 2,000 sq. ft. library, creating approximately 4,500 sq. ft. This would require the removal of the WPA bandstand, a good portion of the library park, and many trees.
Move the library into the southeast wing of the old Good Samaritan Center, next to the new Stick Creek Kids Daycare Center, where there would be approximately 12,000 sq. ft. available to remodel and future expansion.
2. The current library hours are as follows.
Do you feel these hours meet your needs?
Yes (Skip to Question 4)
