MHGC OUTING CONTRACT


1. All outings are required to tee off within their allotted tee time. Each foursome must finish their round in a MAXIMUM 2 hours and 15 minutes. Our PACE OF PLAY PROGRAM is printed on the scorecard. OUTING COORDINATORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PACE OF PLAY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OUTINGS.

2. All outings must have a MINIMUM of 20 players. Outing Coordinators will be financially responsible for the number of players agreed upon in the contract. Shotgun starts require a minimum of 84 players.

3. OUTING COORDINATORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTION OF ALL MONEY. PAYMENT MUST BE IN THE FORM OF ONE CHECK FROM THE OUTING COORDINATOR TO MULBERRY HILLS GOLF CLUB.

4. Michigan Liquor Control Commission requires any alcoholic beverages consumed on the premises to be purchased from the licensee. NO COOLERS will be allowed. All take-out beverages purchased from the clubhouse MUST be consumed outside. We do not make the law, but we must enforce it.

5. Power cart operators MUST have a valid driver’s license. Any damage to a golf cart or golf course will be the financial responsibility of the operator. All rented carts must be returned to the front of the clubhouse upon completion of play. Do not leave carts behind building or in parking lot area.

6. CANCELLATIONS due to inclement weather are at the sole discretion of the Outing Coordinator unless the course is deemed unplayable. Cancellations occur when conditions become dangerous or course damage is possible.

7. All outing participants are required to respect the players around them and golf course property. Proper golf etiquette including placing trash in receptacles, replacing divots and fixing ball marks is expected.

8. SLOW PLAY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

9. ONLY FOURSOMES OR LESS UNLESS OTHERWISE PERMITTED.

10. PROPER GOLF ATTIRE INCLUDING SHOES AND SHIRTS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

11. EVERYONE MUST HAVE A SET OF CLUBS. NO VISITORS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE AT ANY TIME.

12. NO MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE MAY RIDE IN A GOLF CART. RANGERS WILL ASSIST ANY OUTING STAFF.

13. KEEP ALL BAGS AND CARTS AT LEAST 30 FT FROM GREENS AND TEES.

14. MULBERRY HILLS GOLF CLUB ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES OR INJURIES OF ANY KIND WHETHER TO PERSON OR PROPERTY.

15. SOFT SPIKES were invented to remedy the devastation caused by metal spikes in and around the clubhouse and on the course. Mulberry Hills Golf Club recommends all players to embrace the metal spike ban and take the next step towards flawless greens.

16. Outing coordinators must contact Mulberry Hills Golf Club ONE WEEK prior to outing date with final number of players if different from the outing contract. OUTING COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS ON THE CONTRACT. Collect all monies prior to event to eliminate no-shows.
