Florida Nurse Practitioner Network (FNPN), your state NP organization, is seeking to obtain information regarding your current state of medical malpractice liability insurance. Florida APRNs are required by statute to carry a minimum of $100/300,000 in coverage while our physician AND physician assistant colleagues can go bare. This leaves the APRNs open for lawsuits because we are now the deep pockets. This survey is asking for information regarding your medical malpractice liability coverage so we can collect data to determine if we need to move forward to remove this unnecessary monetary burden.
