General Tournament Information:
Location: Pleasant Valley Golf Club, Chantilly, VA
Date/Time: May 5, 2018 – 12:00pm (NOON) Shotgun Start
Format: Captain’s choice scramble (Everyone’s tee shot must be used at least once)
Prizes: 1 st place for each tier determined after play; three total teams will win money towards their sponsoring school’s scholarship fund.
Eligibility: 50% alumni rule from sponsoring school, No co-ed requirement
Tees: Men will hit from the Blue Tees. Ladies and seniors will hit from the forward tees.
Fee includes: Greens and cart fees, post-round buffet dinner, lots of beer, water, Gatorade and soda, a CAN swag gift you’re sure to love
More Fun: A raffle with great prizes and on-course contests (closest to pin, longest drive, etc). Plus, the return of the putting contest for those who dare!

The application process this year will consist of an online form filled out by a coach designated by the alumni chapter. All applications must be submitted by 6pm on April 20, 2018. Please do not wait until the last minute to complete the entire application.
Chapter Considerations/Application process:
All schools in good standing in CAN may apply. March 15th begins open registration on a first-come, first-served basis. There is only room for 36 teams, but a waiting list will be maintained should a team decide not to participate or fail to pay by the deadline. All teams must have the full support of the alumni chapter Board and must submit the chapter president's information along with their application. The chapter president will be notified to verify the alumni status of the person submitting the application. Upon verification by chapter president, the payment website address will be emailed to the coach. April 20, 2018 6:00pm will be the application deadline and the waitlist will be cut off at that time.
The Post Flight System: Once the field is set, we use the number of teams to determine what place finishes will be awarded money. For example, if we have 30 foursomes, the 1st, 11th, and 21st place teams will all be declared "winner" of their respective flights.
Ties will be broken by comparing a group of pre-determined holes.
