Process for Excusing Student from Study Hall

The parent/guardian of a student enrolled in a study hall at the beginning or end of the day may give permission for their student, in good academic standing, to not attend their study hall period by completing this form. Instead, the student will have a late arrival or early dismissal.  If a student who is excused from study hall at the beginning or end of the day is on campus during the time of their study hall it is expected that they attend study hall and follow the established procedures. Study hall exemptions will be revoked at any point, if the student is not in good academic standing. 

Students with parent/guardian permission to not attend their study hall will still be welcome to attend study hall on any given day. In such scenarios, the study hall monitor will change their attendance to be “present.”

Proceso para excusar al estudiante de asistir a la sala de estudio

El padre / tutor de un estudiante que tenga sala de estudio al comienzo o al final del día puede dar permiso completando este formulario para que su estudiante, si tiene buen nivel académico, no asista a su período de sala de estudio.  En su lugar, el estudiante llegará tarde a la escuela o saldrá temprano. Si un estudiante tiene excusa para no asistir a sala de estudio al comienzo o al  final del día pero está en el campus durante el tiempo de su sala de estudio, se espera que asista a la sala de estudio y siga los procedimientos establecidos.  Se revocará la excepción de la sala de estudio en cualquier momento si el estudiante no mantiene buen desempeño académico.

Los estudiantes con permiso de los padres / tutores para no asistir a  sala de estudio serán bienvenidos en la sala de estudio cualquier día. En este caso, el director de la sala de estudio cambiará su asistencia a "presente".
