RSVP for Chilton's Mental Health Wellness Festival
You are invited to attend the first annual Chilton Mental Health Wellness Festival being held at Chilton High School on March 5. We will be engaging in conversation and learning around the subject of mental health in our community. The following is the schedule for the evening:
4:45 p.m. Free supper begins
5:30 Session 1
6:00 Session 2
6:30 Town hall meeting

Throughout the event, REACH, Calumet County’s substance misuse prevention coalition, will have a mock bedroom on display. This display provides clues to help determine whether a child might be experimenting with drugs, tobacco, or alcohol. Room décor, hidden compartments, and items to conceal use are located throughout the room. REACH will also offer free materials for safe medication storage/disposal and refrigerator locks.

1. Amazing Affirmations — Ken Vogel and Joyel Vandenboogart, Dignity Revolution

2. Marijuana and Adolescent Mental Health — Cindy Czarnik-Neimeyer, M.S., PS, Catalpa Health/Appleton Schools ATODA & Mental Health Liaison and Chris Wardlow, MAT, PS, Catalpa Health and Outagamie County

3. Grief: Understanding the Experience of Loss — Jeanette Potts, Master of Science degree in leadership with a concentration in grief and bereavement from Marian University and an accredited Certification in Thanatology from the Association of Death Education and Counseling

4. Mind, Body, Yoga — Megan Leigh Knuth, certifications as a yoga therapist specializing in PTSD/Trauma Yoga, Advanced Yoga, Yoga for Children, Holistic Nutritional Counseling, as well as Compassion Fatigue Counseling and Recovery Yoga

5. Stop the Stigma: Mental Health Presentation, My Personal Story — Michelle Lewis, teacher at Clintonville public schools
