PhD in Translational Health Sciences Research Mentors
Thank you for allowing us to keep you up to date on potential ways to get involved as a Research Mentor for students in the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences PhD in Translational Health Sciences (THS) Program. Being a Research Mentor is an opportunity for you to potentially involve doctoral students in your work.

There are many opportunities, with varying degrees of time commitment, to get involved in the PhD Program as a Research Mentor, including service as an independent study course preceptor or dissertation committee member, or meeting with a student on a short-term basis to provide advice or opportunity to observe your research activities.

By completing this form, you are not committing to serve as a Research Mentor, but rather you will be added to a private database that will allow program directors and advisors to identify mentors who have expertise that match the interests of our students.  If there is a match, a program director or advisor will reach out to you to discuss specifics prior to sharing your contact information with a student.

Please feel free to contact Dr. Mary Corcoran, Program Director (corcoran@gwu.edu) or Dr. Shawneequa Callier, Director of Research (scallier@gwu.edu) with any questions.
