CITY EAST MARKETS is a community marketplace for individuals and businesses to sell their products to the local community. It's located centrally, in Adelaide City. It's a short walk away from the popular shopping and dining strips, Rundle Street and Hutt Street.

Applications are currently open for the CITY EAST MARKETS vendors. The market operates EVERY WEEKEND throughout the year, EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
HOW DO I APPLY TO BECOME A VENDOR?
Fill out the Application Form. If your application displays the broad criteria we are interested in, Market Management will contact you.
WHAT KINDS OF PRODUCTS CAN BE SOLD AT THE MARKETS?
The types of products you can sell at the Markets are only limited by your imagination, and include (but are not limited to) fashion and accessories, design, art and craft. The more creative and unique the better!
ARE THERE ANY PRODUCTS PROHIBITED FOR SALE BY STALLHOLDERS
• Goods which infringe any copyright or registered trade mark, goods or merchandise that cannot be sold by law. • No consultants (Multi-level marketing)
DO I REQUIRE INSURANCE?
Stallholders are required to have current $10 million public liability insurance (and $10 million product liability, where applicable). Single day insurance can be arranged directly with the market organiser at a rate of $15 per day. Insurance can be offered to a limited number of stall holders on a first in, first serve basis. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING AS A STALL HOLDER?
Each vendor will need to bring different things with them to the Markets. As a general indication, you will need:
• Your stock• A table and table cover• Display, signage and promotional materials• Float to suit your product pricing
Chairs: Do not bring chairs to the market. There is an expectation that all sellers stand behind their stalls, ready to serve customers during trading hours. If you require a chair for health reasons, please let us know prior to attending the market. Under those circumstances, you must use a tall/bar stool.
Dress code: All stall holders must be dressed in professional attire, appropriate for retail.
Stall Display: All tables must be fitted, ironed, table cloths, at least 2cm from the floor. Your business name should be clearly visible to patrons.
Sellers are required to trade within the advertised market trading hours. If conditions arise where you need to leave earlier than the trading hours, please contact the market organiser.
All sellers must conduct themselves in a professional manner.
• There is a toilet and hand basin on site for stall holders.• There is an ATM across the road at the German Club.• There is NO power/electricity available to any stall holder. Any stall holder requiring power will need to bring their own generator and should contact the market organisers before the event for a suitable location.
BUMP-IN / BUMP-OUT
Bump-in is 8.30am. Stalls locations are assigned on the day, at check-in with the site manager.Bump-out is from 3.30pm.
Stalls trading on both Saturday and Sunday can leave their setup overnight. Please cover your stall with a waterproof material. Please do not leave any valuables or food on the premises. We will not have or accept any liability, obligation or responsibility whatsoever for the damage or theft that may occur.
HOW DO I KNOW THAT I’VE BEEN APPROVED AS A STALL HOLDER?
CITY EAST MARKETS will advise you by email and send you an invoice.
WHEN DO I PAY?
The invoice shows the due date for your invoice.
HOW DO I PAY MY STALL FEES
You will receive an invoice with payment information. Payment is required within 3 days of invoicing.
WHAT IF I DON'T PAY ON TIME?
If you're unable to make your payment on time, please contact us as soon as you can by email email@example.com
If an invoice remains unpaid for an extended period of time will be reported to creditor watch.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?If you need to cancel your booking you should give notice 14 days notice via email to firstname.lastname@example.org Refunds are not given to any cancelations which fall with in 14 days prior to an event. Refunds are not given If you don't cancel and are unable to or choose not to attend, a refund is not available and any invoice amount owed must be paid. The service we provide is to host & advertise a market and reserve a space for you.
