Are you ready for an unforgetable adventure? Yes, you guessed it, the 19th edition of the International Student Badminton Tournament Utrecht lies ahead!

As always, it is promised to be an amazing event. Make a reservation in your agenda for March 27th till 29th. Show us your badminton skills during the matches and get to know people from all over Europe. Fuel yourself with some delicious food on Saturday evening and continue the fun at the themed party on Saturday night.

During the weekend you will shake your bones on the court! The theme of ISBT 2026 is
🌺💀🌺Dias de los Muertos🌺💀🌺. Beware your soul, but we will be remembering those who've passed in previous badmintonmatches. Please remember that your outfit should not contain any glitter. You will be charged the costs of cleaning it up.

Planning

ISBT Utrecht 2026 starts on Friday the 27th and lasts until Sunday the 29th of March. All matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 AM onwards. However, the registration already opens on Friday night, giving you the opportunity to meet your fellow contestants and set up your sleeping place. It is also possible to register on Saturday morning between 8.00 AM and 8.30 AM if you are unable to join us on Friday night. Both on Saturday and Sunday we will provide you with breakfast and lunch. Dinner on Saturday night is taken care of as well, after which we will dance the night away at the theme party.

Location

The event takes place at sports centre Olympos at Uppsalalaan 3 in Utrecht. For dinner on Saturday night we made a reservation at a restaurant in the city centre of Utrecht. The theme party will also take place in the centre. We have arranged buses to get you from the sports centre to the city centre and back, but you can also go by bike (for those who have one). Both on Friday and Saturday you are welcome to sleep at Olympos. However, make sure to bring your own sleeping gear. Lastly, for an additional 8 to 10 euros, there is the possibility to join dinner at Olympos on Sunday evening in order to bring the ISBT weekend to the best end!

Price

The price for this event is €70,-. However, the early birds that sign up and pay before the 1st of February only have to pay €65,-! If you’re a bit late and still want to buy a ticket after the 23rd of March, you have to pay €75,-. Please note that these are prices for the date of payment, not the date of registration.

Where to sleep?

After a long day of playing and partying you can sleep in the sports centre on Friday- and Saturday night. Those of you who live nearby: feel free to sleep at home or join the (quiet) fun at Olympos (as long as you are at Olympos in time in the morning).
