CRITERIA FOR ENTRY1. The author must be under the age of 30 at 31 March 2018.2. The author must either be a British national or be resident in Great Britain and NorthernIreland for three years prior to the date of submission for the award, and writing in English3. The work submitted may be a published or unpublished volume of poetry, drama-poems or belles-lettres.4. No more than 30 poems should be submitted.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRYThe judges' decisions (both as to eligibility and the winning entries) shall be final. The judges reserve the right not to make any Eric Gregory Awards if, in their opinion, no works entered reach a sufficiently high standard.

• Poems (published or unpublished) should be typed and submitted on loose numbered sheets of A4 paper with the author’s name stated on the contents page only.• Submissions should not be stapled or bound together.
Please note: Winners of the Eric Gregory Awards may be invited to give readings at the Ledbury Poetry Festival and also at a poetry reading evening in London.
