Moore Square Reality of Money Volunteers
On January 18th, State Employees Credit Union will host Reality of Money for Moore Square 8th graders. This activity gives the students a "peek" into the future as they are "transformed" into young adults with jobs, debt, families and other real world responsibilities. This is a fun experience of the "Game of Life" for our students and we need you to join in! During the simulation students move through multiple expense stations where volunteers (like you) assist them in making the necessary financial decision like rent, entertainment, groceries, etc. The time frame is 7:45 to 10:41. 7:45 to 8:00 check-in, 8:05 - 8:30 Reality of Money Orientation, 8:37 - 9:37 first session of 8th graders, 9:41- 10:41 second session of 8th graders. We hope you will come! This event will be in the gym and volunteers will enter through the gym doors. Parking will be on the street and in the numbered spaces in the lower lot near the gym.
