The Deets
The tortilla toss requires a team of two. One team member tosses a 12 inch flour tortilla while the other team member attempts to catch it on an adjustable helmet with a skillet on top that was 3D printed just for this event by Craft 3D.
We will randomly select teams that register for the event and announce them at Indie Fest around the following times:
Friday Sept 26 at 7:15pm (before Dapper Conspiracy)
Saturday Sept 27 at 6:45pm (before Late Night Special)
These times are approximate based on weather and how quickly we can move bands on/off stage.
Five teams will be selected to compete each day. Each team will be provided with five flour tortillas & will have five tries for one team member to toss a tortilla into the skillet helmet on the other team member's head. One of the team members must be holding a beer (not provided) and no beer may be spilled or that round will not be counted. This event will take place in front of the stage.
Teams can participate on both days, even if they win on Friday. Hey, if you're that good we want to see you twice! All participants will be asked to sign a waiver to participate. Don't worry, the tortillas won't be hot off the skillet when tossed.
The team landing the most tortillas on the helmet successfully wins a beer and taco dinner for up to four people (two beers and two tacos each) from Tacos El Primo & Hugger Mugger Brewing. May the best tosser win!
