Dr. Kathryn Humphreys will be speaking on types of child adversity and links to behavioral and neurobiological development in young children. Above and beyond the effects of cumulative adversity, research on types of adversity better informs potential neurobiological and clinical interventions. She will also address new tools used to characterize the early environment and using functional MRI technology among infants.
