Experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and/or vicarious trauma at work is common among anti-violence advocates. Supervisors play a key role in addressing these experiences among anti-violence advocates to increase resiliency and promote a healthy organizational culture. When we center employee’s well-being and resilience, we can create a healthy workplace that promotes respect, dignity, and safety for all.
