Johns Hopkins University has a goal to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 51% by 2025. To achieve this goal, individual energy conservation efforts are necessary. The goal of the Green Office Certification is to recognize offices for their sustainability efforts and identify opportunities at the same time.

To get your office Green Office Certified, follow the steps below.
1. Review the Certification checklist on our website:
2. Complete this form to start the process with the Office of Sustainability.
3. Complete the checklist and send to the Office of Sustainability by August 1.
4. Schedule a walk-through with the Office of Sustainability. Plan for this to take about 1.5 hours.
5. Follow up: clarify any remaining questions. The Office of Sustainability will provide their top recommendations to improve your score.
6. Finalize your score and attend an awards ceremony to receive your plaque!
