Financial Assistance Request

Thank you for inquiring about financial assistance for membership registration. Every Scout should have the opportunity to benefit from Scouting programs.

Financial assistance is intended to offset registration costs for Scouts. Montana Council typically does not cover full membership fees and believes families should have a vested interest in the program. This form is to be used with just one unit per application. A family will need to complete two request forms for youth joining two different units.

The Process

Please complete this form to request financial assistance.

Once this online form is submitted, the applicant will be contacted regarding any additional information needed and/or the assistance amount awarded.

A Scouting America membership application will also need to be completed. Applicants may have a digital or paper membership application sent to them for approval if one has not already been completed.

Unit Key 3

The Unit Key 3 consists of the Charter Organization Representative, the Committee Chair, and the Unit Leader (Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, or Advisor).
