My name is Dr. Ashish C. Gandhi, and I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow in Electrical Engineering Department at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Hsinchu, Taiwan. In the past, I have also worked at National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei in the Center for Condensed Matter Sciences (CCMS) and at National Dong Hwa University, Hualien, in the Applied Physics department. I have published over 45 research papers, out of which 37 are the first author in renewed international journals, and presented invited talks at several Universities and conferences in various countries.
Over a while and based on my self experiences, I have realized that the young research scholars (Ph.D. and Master) in their early period are facing several challenges i.e. designing a research topic, reviewing the literature, reading a research paper, finding key points, data analysis/interpretation, writing and organizing a manuscript, etc. To overcome these challenges, I'm here to provide guidance and counseling, which will be held weekly online. Depending on participants' interests, I will share a few research-related software for XRD, Raman, PL, XPS, TEM-HRTEM, SEM, and XAS data analysis.
