It is a half-day lecture that will discuss areas in translational research that are not yet well explored, namely, systems biology and epigenetics. It aims to increase awareness and appreciation from students, clinicians, and scientists in the field of disease modeling and non-mutational genetic factors that can influence DNA function. The first part of the seminar will be composed of lectures from two experts in the said fields. The second part will provide a hands-on training for disease modeling.
