Paws and Prescribers, Fall 2025 Sign-Up
About this event:
Join this interprofessional learning event to engage with a panel of pharmacy and veterinary medicine experts on the topic of compounding. We will explore the intersectionality between pharmacy and veterinary medicine through small group discussions between students from pharmacy and veterinary medicine programs. We will also hear from students engaged with WisCARES about the interprofessional opportunities at this community veterinary clinic.

Learning Objectives:
  1. List two examples of how veterinary medicine and pharmacy are interconnected.
  2. Describe ways in which collaboration between veterinary medicine and pharmacy can improve patient outcomes.
  3. Provide examples of when compounding is appropriate/necessary in veterinary medicine.
