South Central Region of MSTA would like to recognize outstanding educators from our region. Anyone who is now employed in the field of education in the South Central Region and is currently an MSTA member is eligible to be nominated for this year’s award. Members of the MSTA South Central Region Executive Board may not be nominated.

We would like to encourage each CTA to nominate outstanding educators that would represent your local school district. Teachers can be nominated in the following categories:
Pre-K – Grade 4
Grade 5-8
Grade 9-12

The nominees will be recognized and South Central Region Educators of the Year will be recognized at our evening celebration in April. Each winner will receive a $500 award, with a $50 award going to the nominating CTA. There will be one winner from each category.
