2026 DRF Scott Kammerer ProStart Student Scholarship Award!
The Delaware Restaurant Association Educational Foundation presents the 2026 DRF Scott Kammerer Scholarship Award. Funds of up to $2,500 will be distributed to a selected outstanding ProStart student(s) in an approved ProStart program who have demonstrated an interest and dedication toward a future in the foodservice industry (number of scholarships dependent upon applications received). Recipient(s) will be asked to attend the Annual DRAEF Fundraising Dinner on April 1, 2026 at The Hyatt Place, Dewey Beach, DE from 6pm-9pm. Please save the date!

Eligibility: Open to all ProStart Juniors & Seniors who attend an approved ProStart Program High School in the state of Delaware. Funds are to be utilized toward Culinary/Hospitality Focused Post-Secondary Support, Workforce Assistance, or Leadership Opportunity (Camps, Academies, etc...).

Instructions: 1. Complete ALL sections of the application below. 2. Do not alter this application form in any way or use abbreviations. 3. Application deadline: Must be submitted by 5pm on February 27, 2026.

All applications will be reviewed and approved by the DRF Board of Directors on March 11, 2026.  Awards will be announced to the recipients on March 16, 2025.  Scholarships will be awarded on April 1, 2026 at the Foundation Dinner. Please note, if an award recipient, funds will be allocated directly to the institution/vendor.
