Program Content Description / Learning Objectives:Identify criteria for opioid use disorders and current trends in our region. Demonstrate knowledge of treatment options for individuals with opioid use disorders. Describe neuroscience of addiction and replacement treatment medications. Discuss information concerning opioid replacement treatment and other referral sources for substance use disorders. Identify common theories and techniques utilized in substance abuse treatment.
