Application for ARLIS/NA Northern California Mentoring Program
• By filling out this form, you are applying to the ARLIS/NA Northern California Mentoring program.

• This program is open to Chapter members and requires a 6 month commitment to engage in a mentoring relationship with a partner who is assigned to you. Typically pairs communicate for one hour per month.

• Applications are due by December 30, 2014. Your chapter liaison will attempt to pair you with an appropriate mentor or mentee by January 15, 2015.

Members of the ARLIS/NA Mentoring Subcommittee will be on hand throughout the year to help make the mentoring relationship a rewarding one.

Please be advised: it is the belief of the ARLIS/NA Mentoring Subcommittee that regardless of experience or areas of interest all ARLIS/NA members can benefit from having a mentor to offer support and act as a sounding board. The training documentation will discuss this in detail. While pairs will attempt to be matched based on like interests and experiences, these factors are not essential in a successful mentoring relationship.
