Fall 2025 First-Year Seminar course withdrawal form
If you plan to withdraw from your First-Year Seminar course, you must first complete this form.

Then, we'll send the Registrar your information so that you will be withdrawn from the First Year Seminar course that you indicate.

Please be advised that if you withdraw from your First-Year Seminar in Fall 2025, you will be required to register for a new seminar course in Spring 2026.

Please acknowledge that you know that you have until November 18 to withdraw from a class in Fall 2025.
*
Specify the course from which you want to withdraw. Please include the course acronym, number, name, instructor, and CRN (if possible).

I have discussed whether or not to withdraw with my professor.
*
If you did not discuss whether or not to withdraw with your teacher, why not?
*
I understand that students typically are not recommended to withdraw from their First-Year Seminar unless they are confident they will not be successful.  In addition, I am aware that I will have to take another First-Year Seminar in the spring if I withdraw from my seminar course this semester.
*
I understand that withdrawing from this course may impact my housing and financial aid, particularly if I will be continuing with fewer than 12 credits for Fall 2025. (Please note:  Failing also impacts your financial aid, so don't stay in a class you will fail to save your aid or housing--discuss the timing of your withdrawal with us or Stockton Cares instead).

*
I understand that once I submit this form, I will be withdrawn from the course.
