2018 7th Annual Re-Purposed Doodad Sculpture Competition
Hillsborough County Public Schools continue their partnership with Tampa Regional Artists to provide K-12 students who attend public, private, charter, or home schools within Hillsborough County the opportunity to upcyle, and re-purpose objects. This year students are challenged with maps and aluminum cans! Starting in 2011, plastic street globes from Horizon Bay at Hyde Park assisted living & retirement community were re-purposed by Hillsborough County students, and transformed into themed sculptures. The tradition lives on!
