2024-2025 Concurrent Enrollment Form
Please read through and complete this form after you have decided what college course you are taking and in which term you plan on taking it. lf you are taking a course at Palomar or MiraCosta, the cost of the units are waived. These responses will go directly to your counselors and the registrar. The course(s) will be added to your schedule after proof of enrollment is received. Courses at a Community College MUST NOT take place at the same time as your Workshop classes. If they do, you will be moved to the Virtual class(es) Below are the steps that must be completed for the Concurrent Enrollment process.

Please do not fill out your own K-12 form. You will be sent a pre-signed form to fill out and return to the admissions office.

1. Students must apply and enroll in the college through the college's online portal
2. Before enrolling in a class, students must complete this digital Concurrent Enrollment form indicating what class they want to enroll in so it can be approved.

3. Once the form is turned in and approved by a counselor, students will be provided a signed K-12/Concurrent Enrollment form sent to the email provided on this form. The signed form needs to be turned into the college admissions office. (MiraCosta offers their form digitally through DocuSign or printed. Please input your counselor's email as the recipient).

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ**
Check the catalog and choose an appropriate course. Appropriate means the course description matches or exceeds CAHS course description. If you have any questions about course transferability, please check with the high school Counselor. CAHS does not weight community college courses without the prior permission of the counseling department and only in accordance with the handbook.

NOTE: CAHS will only put a maximum of 2 courses on the CAHS transcript per semester; however, students may take more if they choose. Concurrent Enrollment classes cannot conflict with Workshop classes taken at CAHS.

College courses 3 units or higher will receive 10 high school credits. Students must concurrently be enrolled in a minimum of 3 CAHS classes per semester and a minimum of 30 credits per year. These CAHS units must be core academic classes required towards graduation credits. The 10 credits of community service do not count towards the 30 credits required to be a full-time student per year. Seniors will not be able to take any courses required for graduation in the Spring of Senior year.
