Reconnecting Neighborhoods #GetOver94
Reconnecting Neighborhoods is a grassroots planning initiative of Seward Redesign, Inc. We are working with neighbors, the City of Minneapolis Public Works, Hennepin County Public Works, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to plan improvements to the crossings of I-94 between Seward and the West Bank. As I-94 turns 50 years old and MnDOT starts planning its future, neighbors have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape the neighborhood for good.

The ideas for improvement displayed here have been guided by past community engagement and plans and policies adopted by the City of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, and the State of Minnesota. These are not proposals endorsed by any government agency. These are big ideas that would need significant time, money, and community support to plan and build.
