Tom Schweizer is the author of the, “Understanding What It Means to Be White and Privileged Journal”. This journal allows people to explore long held beliefs around race and privilege. After a 17-year business career and serving as a not-for-profit executive, consultant and coach, Mr. Schweizer began to study and learn about diversity and inclusion. He is now retired, focusing his efforts on ways to further understanding of race and white privilege through writing and facilitating hundreds of workshops and programs. Mr. Schweizer believes that it is ultimately up to white people to take responsibility for understanding and calling out white privilege. He says it’s not about white people having to give up anything but creating more opportunities for those who were previously denied opportunities.

Please bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks will be provided.

Attendance is limited to 30 people. Let us know you're coming.

Please join us as we continue to explore racial injustice and the roles that we play in it. If you have questions, please contact Jeanne Bubb at or Barbara Finch at
