MotherCoders NYC: Guest Speakers/Coaches
Thank you for your interest in guest speaking or coaching at a MotherCoders class in NYC! We are working directly with the Deputy Mayor's Office through its women.nyc initiative to help women with kids jumpstart careers in tech.

Your participation is critical in helping our students craft a career path that suits their passions and abilities by enabling them to learn and hear directly from practitioners in the field. Our Spring 2019 classes will be held from Feb-April on Tuesdays and Thursday at the Brooklyn Public Library - Macon Branch, located at 361 Lewis Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11233, or Saturdays at the Brooklyn Public Library - Bushwick Branch, located at 340 Bushwick Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11206. We are currently recruiting tech professionals working in Design, Engineering, or Marketing to serve as guest speakers and coaches:

- Data Science
- Digital Marketing
- Growth Marketing
- Web Development
- Mobile Development
- UX/UI or Product Design
- Product Management
- Software Engineering

We are also looking for tech startup founders and subject matter experts in InfoSec and blockchain to speak on panels, as well as career coaches with experience in helping experienced professionals with career transitions to run a workshop.

MotherCoders is a nonprofit that's growing the tech talent pool by activating mothers to get on a career track in tech that leverages their unique skills, experiences, and passions. Whether it’s acquiring a particular skill-set to move into a certain role, re-entering the workforce after a pause for motherhood, or accelerating the growth of a startup, the MotherCoders tech training program helps students gain the skills, knowledge, and community support to confidently take the next step (or 2 or 3) in their advancement toward a career in tech.
