Brown MS - Year 2026-2027 -  Please use this form to report your child's absence from school. Absences include full-day absences, late arrivals, and early dismissals. Please note that attendance in school is vital for good performance.  To help your child achieve all they can, please limit absences, tardy arrivals and early departures to illness, urgent medical appointments or other unavoidable appointments.

This form is for parental use only.  The request MUST be a Parent/Guardian email address that is currently in Aspen connected to your student's portal. Any student who misrepresents themselves as their guardian by filling out this form are subject to suspension for forgery.

Please be aware: Vacations/travel/sports competitions are NOT considered excused and you will still receive an automated message about the absence. You do not need to resubmit or notify us again for an attendance entry that has already been submitted. For extended absences (over four days), the district is allowing families the option of preparing a home education plan.
