Allocations Committee Volunteer Form
The Allocations Committee is central to the mission and goals of the Boston Women’s Fund to democratize philanthropy. BWF is looking for women+, girls+, and other marginalized genders to take part in a powerful and rewarding experience. Committee members share a commitment to the mission and vision of the Fund and ensure that these values are adhered to in the process of researching, preparing and discussing grant proposals, and recommending nominees to Allocation Committee Members, BWF staff and Board for funding. No prior experience with grant-making is necessary.

We strongly encourage people from the communities we work with to apply for the Allocations Committee, especially: past grantees; people of color; people with disabilities; Native American and Indigenous people; lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer; immigrants and refugees; and women+, girls+, genderqueer, trans, and gender non-conforming people.

Each Allocation Committee Member will be required to spend 15 - 20 hours total for the selection process. BWF will select 10 members and pay a one-time stipend of $200.
