According to research commissioned by Jigsaw, 85% of women have experienced or witnessed online violence, and 50% of women impacted by online violence fear for their physical safety as well.
Women Techmakers, in partnership with Jigsaw, launched the Women’s Online Safety Program in February 2020 as a key commitment from Google to contribute to women thriving online.
The Online Safety Program is coming to Europe virtually from 6th to 9th of September, 2021, with online safety training from Google and diverse sessions from the community.
