2019 IBIE Student Immersion Program Application
About the Program
The 2019 IBIE Student Immersion Program is designed to immerse students interested in the baking industry into IBIE 2019 by volunteering, attending educational sessions and meeting with industry leaders. Students selected for the program will be in excellent standing academically, involved in a sector of the baking industry, diligent and responsible and excited about IBIE 2019.

Selected students will be required to:
- Attend IBIE for the duration of the show, Fri., Sept. 6 through Wed., Sept. 11.
- Attend pre-planned meetings with select exhibitors
- Serve as Education Session Monitors for at least (6) sessions during IBIEducate held Sat., Sept. 7 - Wed., Sept. 11
- Assist IBIE in other pre-IBIE Volunteer activities as assigned on Fri., Sept. 6
- Participate in follow up conversations with an assigned industry mentor
- Provide a one paged essay on IBIE experience post IBIE by Sept. 30, 2019

Academic Institutions of Selected Students will be required to:
- Approve the attendance of selected/awarded student
- Send (1) adviser with the student delegation for the duration of IBIE 2019
- IBIE 2019 will issue a travel stipend and complimentary registration to the attending adviser

Selected Students will receive:
- Unparalleled access to leaders of the baking industry
- Mentor access post IBIE 2019
- Complimentary registration
- Access to general IBIEducate sessions (Excludes IBIEducate Hands On Sessions)
- Hotel Accommodations stipend at one of the official IBIE Hotels, assigned by IBIE (Students will be placed into room with three other students of the same gender)
- Travel Stipend (Stipend determined by number of total accepted applicants from student's academic institution)
