REQUIREMENTS1. Must fulfill all requirements for Pathfinder of the Year.2. Must obtain or maintain a Good Conduct Ribbon for the current Pathfinder year.3. Must complete all the advanced class requirements for the present Pathfinder year.4. Participate in one service project. a. For junior Pathfinders working at least 2 hours. b. For teen Pathfinders working at least 4 hours. c. For TLT Pathfinders working at least 6 hours.5. Must help plan and participate in an ecology, conservation, or nature project. a. For junior Pathfinders working at least 2 hours. b. For teen Pathfinders working at least 4 hours. c. For TLT Pathfinders working at least 6 hours.6. Must help plan and participate in a fundraising activity, raising at least $50. These monies are to be donated to a charitable cause or used to fund #3 & #4.7. Must submit a written summary of the above special projects to the Conference by March 10th.8. Must know the meaning of the Pathfinder insignia.9. Must be present at Pathfinder Fair, in Class A Uniform and pass inspection by the Conference Pathfinder Staff at the time this award is presented, to receive this award.10. In addition to all of the above, two (2) evaluation forms are required for each nominee. See separate pdf file in list to be completed and returned to the conference office.
Regular scheduled club service and nature projects do not count toward the above requirements.These are to be individual accomplishments, something that the Pathfinder should choose, work at and report on. This is not to say that the Pathfinder is to do all the actual work. As an example, if a Pathfinder organized a student group from their school to clean up a local stream one Sunday then that would count toward their nature project.
