The free LERN (Law Enforcement Responds with Naloxone) Program offered by Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority (OCCMHA) provides a basic understanding of addiction neurobiology, the impact of over-prescribed medication on substance misuse, and how stigma and misinformation about the disease of addiction are barriers to treatment and prevention. For more information about LERN contact OCCMHA at 248.758.1991.

Funding for this initiative is provided in part by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
