Applications are now open for the first annual Roblox Global Parent Council! We are looking for up to 40 parents and caregivers volunteers from across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe who are interested in child online protection, digital literacy, digital citizenship, and civility online. Overall, we want parents and caregivers who have opinions about Roblox and are ready to help us build an even better platform.

AREAS OF FOCUS
Three guiding pillars of our Parent Council:

Educate: You'll gain valuable skills and insights on the Roblox platform, products and policy, communication, while learning about key topics such as digital well-being, safety and civility.
Empower: You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with Roblox’s internal teams, helping to co-design and share actionable insights on platform features, policies, and resources.
Lead: You'll help to educate and engage other parents and caregivers in your regions on online safety, civility and well-being by offering feedback and suggestions on resources and social media content on these topics that will support digital families.

QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for up to 40 parents or caregivers volunteers who fit the following qualifications:

Parent or guardian or caregiver of at least one child who plays Roblox
Resident of the United States, Mexico, Canada (20 total)
Resident of a country within Europe (20 total)
Strong proficiency in English is required
Passionate, creative, and a genuine desire to make a supportive and positive place for families
Some familiarity with Roblox
Bonus: Ready to advocate for online safety and responsible tech use in the digital age

Our 2026 Roblox Parent Council will run January through December 2026. Council members can expect to meet virtually once a quarter via Zoom, with each meeting running approximately one to two hours long. There is a possibility of an in-person regional meeting to be decided during the run of the program. Some pre-reading may be assigned.

Finalists will be contacted and invited for a virtual interview in October 2025. Due to the volume of applications, we'll only be able to contact applicants who are selected for an interview. All personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
