The C. Chad Cronon Memorial Scholarship
The Orlando Fringe is proud to manage the C. Chad Cronon Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500, which is funded by Chad’s family. This scholarship is for one area high school student in Orange, Lake, Seminole or Osceola counties who is interested in majoring Arts Administration or Entertainment Law.

Additional qualifications as determined by the members of the Fringe Teen Committee Scholarship Review Team:
•Sincere interest in Arts Administration or Entertainment Law
•Ability to work well with others
•Academic promise (minimum GPA of 3.0)
•Concern for others as demonstrated in extracurricular participation

Final selection of the scholarship winners will be decided (subject to the approval of the
Board of Directors of The Orlando Fringe Festival) by a Scholarship Advisory
Committee of Orlando Fringe. The Advisory Committee consists of six persons from the
community at large. No member of the Advisory Committee, or his or her immediate
family, is eligible for scholarship assistance during his or her tenure on the Advisory
Committee. The scholarship awards will be announced at The Orlando Fringe Awards Ceremony. Payment will be made to the student, after the selected student notifies the fringe director about the school he or she will be attending.

The C. Chad Cronon Memorial Scholarship was created to provide a scholarship is for one area high school student in Orange, Lake, Seminole or Osceola counties who is interested in majoring in Arts Administration or Entertainment Law.

--- In order to apply for this scholarship a student must meet the following requirements.---
1. Be a student in Orange, Lake, Seminole or Osceola county.
2. Plan to attend a two or four year college or technical school within the United States.
3. Plan to major in Arts Administration or Entertainment Law.
4. Show academic promise - minimum GPA of 3.0.
5. Show concern for others as demonstrated in participation in extracurricular school or community activities.
6. Write a 750-word essay.
7. Attach a resume listing experiences in all activities in high school.
