STEAM Camp at First Pres. offers boys and girls project-based learning activities emphasizing 21st century skills to include Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. This camp will reinforce skills from students’ core subjects as well as allow them to explore more topics that are of interest to children today. We will concentrate on students’ readiness for school with a focus on creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. Students will create, evaluate, and effectively utilize information, media, materials, and technology. Engaging students in a deeper understanding of real-world connections will better help prepare them for the fast changing world we live in today.
