To join NNOC as a new member org at our next national meeting, please read our by-laws and membership requirements below, and fill out this form to apply.

About the National Network on Cuba

The National Network on Cuba (NNOC) works to encourage normalized relations between the United States and Cuba. We counter U.S. military threats, regime change programs, and destabilization actions against Cuba, and we stand in solidarity with all people resisting U.S. imperialism, militarism, and sanctions across the world.

Our goals include educating the U.S. public about the harms of economic warfare, promoting the achievements of the Cuban people, supporting member-led material aid campaigns, strengthening our network, and advocating for changes in U.S. foreign policy including removing Cuba from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list, lifting the blockade, ending travel and trade restrictions, and opposing all forms of intervention in Cuban sovereignty.

Membership Requirements

To become a Full member of the NNOC, interested organizatons must:

  • Fill out this membership application.

  • Secure the sponsorship of at least one (1) current NNOC member.

  • Present the application to a National Meeting, where it will be discussed and voted upon by the membership. If your organization cannot attend, your sponsor may present on your behalf.

Dues

  • Organizational membership dues are $120 per year. If your organization cannot pay the full amount, you may request an in-kind contribution arrangement with the co-chairs.

  • Membership will not be denied due to financial hardship.

What Members Agree To

  • Uphold the core tenets and bylaws of the NNOC.

  • Participate in National Network Meetings, with one (1) voting delegate per member organization.

  • Contribute to the Cuba solidarity movement through local, national, and international initiatives.

  • Pay annual dues or arrange an in-kind contribution.

Inactive Membership

Any member organization that has neither paid dues nor participated in a National Network meeting for three (3) consecutive years will be considered inactive and must reapply for membership.

NEW MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT
Our organization has read the points of unity and by-laws of the National Network on Cuba and agrees with its goals and objectives. 

We understand that we have the right to participate in the NNOC meetings and Task Forces. 

We will pay the NNOC dues of $120 per year. 

We are aware that the NNOC functions through the time and commitment of its member organizations and will participate in NNOC Task Forces and projects according to our capacity.
