2017-18 LEAD Scholarship Application
The Leaders Engaging and Advancing Diversity (LEAD) Scholars Program seeks applicants who are passionate about diversity, committed to growing with their cohort, and are willing to invest what they learn into the greater Biola community. Students should be curious, empathetic, and willing to engage authentically in challenging discussions. Being a part of LEAD is a significant commitment and honor (see Program Requirements). Students who anticipate other significant time commitments should seriously consider whether they can commit to the program.

The application will begin with several biographical questions followed by a series of statements that ask you to respond on a scale that represents the following ranges: Agree (5), Mildly Agree (4), Undecided (3), Mildly Disagree (2), Disagree (1). Please answer carefully and honestly in a manner that accurately reflects your true preferences.

The last portion of the application includes short answer essays. Please respond thoughtfully and do not exceed the 150 word limit for each prompt.

*This scholarship is only available to first time, 2017-18 applicants. This scholarship is not available to current Biola students.
