Third World Coop Special Interest Application
This is the special interest application for joining Third World Dining Co-op. Third World Co-op serves as a safe space for students who have been traditionally and structurally disenfranchised from OSCA.
Safe space can be defined in many ways. We define our safe space as one which:
a. primarily serves People Of Color (POC).
b. strives to be inclusive and supportive of POC who are international students, of low income, queer, and/or first-generation students.
c. fosters a strong community that promotes coalition building through dialogue among people of different socioeconomic, cultural, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
d. provides a forum that encourages social activism and political discussions of importance to the current membership.
e.provides a space where members feel comfortable challenging each other and themselves in a positive manner.
A membership selection committee will review your application . Your name will not be revealed to the committee. Any identifying information will only be viewed by the Membership Secretary for the purposes of processing applications and placements. All decisions made by the selection committee are final.
