Non Food Traders Application Form
Welcome to the NON FOOD TRADERS Application Form for Purbeck Valley Folk Festival 2019 (PVFF19). This year the festival is taking place between Thursday 15th August 2018 - Sunday 18th August 2018.

If you want more than one stall, please complete an application form for each stall. Purbeck Valley Folk Festival is a family friendly folk festival based near Corfe Castle.

We are expecting 4500 people to attend, who will have access to the trading areas.

To book your pitch you will need the following:
• Your contact details
• Details on the size of your stall
• An image of your stall and merchandise
• A current copy of your insurance
• Your own Risk Assessment or a completed copy of PVFF18’s form
• A copy of your PAT test Certificate
• To read and agree to PVFF18's Terms & Conditions of Trading
When will you know?
Deadlines for applications are 15th April.

We will notify you by 6th May if we are able to accommodate you. It is at this stage we will notify you of your pitch site and invoice you for your participation in the festival.

We will confirm your payment and reserved pitch in June. Pitches are allocated on a first come first served basis. If payment is not made by the due date the pitch will be offered to another trader. 

Categorisation and prices
1. Traders
• sales of non-food merchandise
• £80 per metre of stall frontage

2. Craft Traders
• sales of non-food merchandise
• All products must be made by the stall holder
• £60 per metre of stall frontage

3. Registered charities – limited spaces
• No selling
• Registered charities only

Set up times are either:
• Wednesday 14 August 2018, 9am – 8pm
• Thursday 15 August 2018, 9am – 8pm

Traders must have finished their set up and be ready to trade by Friday 16 August 8am (Market area).

Pack down not to start until 10.30pm on Sunday evening. A proportion of our festival goers just come on day tickets and it's unfair for them to have a half packed down festival by the evening. There are also health & safety issues with gaps appearing in the line of stalls.
Clearance with vehicle not until 9.00am on Monday.
Before this, stallholders may carry equipment in/out by hand or sack truck.

If you think you might need to move your vehicle over the weekend to get more stock etc, make sure that you tell the stalls manager and park your car somewhere where it can be moved.

Guideline for trading times:
• Friday 16 August 2018, 8am – 10:30pm

• Saturday 17 August 2018, 8am – 10:30pm

• Sunday 18 August 2018, 8am – 10:30pm

The market area will be located between the outside Fire Stage and the barn stages. Due to its position nearer to the farm’s neighbours, the Fire stage will finish at 10:30pm. The audience will then leave passing through the market area and the whole area will be closed at 11pm Music will continue in the barn areas until later. The trader area will not be open on the Thursday night.

Electricity is not provided with each stall area. All electrical equipment you bring on site must have been PAT-tested and have a current safety certificate. A single 13 Amp electricity supply can be provided at an additional cost of £30 for the event. This must be booked in the next section of the form.
