Thank you for your interest in joining the Future of Black Tourism!

We welcome Black-owned businesses (suppliers), Black travel, tourism and hospitality professionals and Black media to apply to become part of this global movement. In addition, we welcome industry allies and partners who are interested in supporting our mission and efforts to join.

Additionally, members must:
-          Have a mission related to the advancement of Black people in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry; or support this mission
-          Operate according to a global, national, regional, or local footprint
-          Reflect and advance FOBT's values of trust, integrity, love, mutualism, and sustainability
-          Pledge to be anti-racist in their decisions, contributions, and how they wield their influence

The expected commitment is roughly 5-10 hours per month. *

We are committed to ensuring that each member understands that they can trust their peers when sharing information specific to the work of their organization and not fear that a FOBT member will take their ideas and run with it! We need to foster a culture of collaboration and working together to build our movement and member organizations/networks together with trust! Also, there will be times when we share opportunities and information only for our member's use and need to be assured that information, conversations, emails or documents shared in confidence are not shared with external sources or non-members without prior consent.
