Have you ever wondered what you can do to help maintain or get to a healthy weight and be better prepared for aging well? Be proactive and work on staying in or getting into shape. You will have a blast while breaking a sweat with our heart-pumping exergaming program.
Bone and Joint Health Program
Fitness for Health’s new Bone Health program uses state-of-the art technology to target and stimulate all the major muscle groups of the body to safely increase bone health, posture, balance, and stability through the body’s natural adaptive response.
B Social Skills Summer Program (ages 4 - 10)
Fitness for Health was voted BEST SPECIAL NEEDS SUMMER PROGRAM in 2016 Wash Family Magazine. Fitness for Health professionals in collaboration with Center for Communication and Learning Speech Language Pathologists, will provide an integrated movement and social thinking® program. Our summer program will integrate social cognitive thinking with motor activities.
B Social Summer Program - Social Skills and Team Building (ages 10 - 16)

EDGE Training – Athletic Performance Development
We will work on mental processing, balance, proprioception, motor planning, motor sequencing, visual motor function, and conditioning. All are areas that will make the difference – and give you the EDGE during game time.
Home Schoolers
This fifty minute, one time a week class will help students achieve their physical education requirements while further developing their gross motor skills, social interactions, body awareness and self-confidence.
Learning on the Move! Brain Camp - Summer Program
Learning happens best when both the brain and body are actively engaged. The Learning on the Move! Brain Camp reinforces essential classroom academics through physical movement. Learning Essentials and Fitness for Health are collaborating on this innovative program.

Teen Hangout for Students with Social Challenges
This unique program will combine the introduction of social thinking concepts with motor development. Our teens will receive didactic teaching followed by practice in a small group led by a speech pathologist and fitness staff. Following that, each student is invited at no additional cost to remain for our open gym.
Think It, Move It!
Children will learn and practice core social concepts while on the move. Concepts will be introduced in a fun and motivating way, encouraging the children to improve their social thinking skills and enhance their motor development.
ZamDance May 12 - June 30 Sign for all and save!
ZamDance is a high impact dance fitness program for children and adults with developmental differences. The program introduces a structured environment while allowing the students to move at their own pace. They are entertained by the music and dance movements. This class also keeps the students happily engaged while learning different dance steps such as MERENGUE, JAZZ, and HIP-HOP!
