Youth Outdoor Equity Leadership Fund
The Children & Nature Network invites young leaders between the ages of 16 and 30 to request up to $500 to increase their personal growth as a leader in the conservation field or to implement projects that create change in equitable access to nature, community health and well being and justice.

Examples of previous grants issued: 

  • Joining a Nature-based conference to increase personal growth/development 

  • Creating a Nature-based event for your local community 

  • Community Garden Instillation

  • Nature Backpacks/Kits

Applications are open to individuals in the U.S., Mexico and Canada and accepted on a rolling basis.

To apply, please complete the below form. Priority consideration will be given to Natural Leaders & Fresh Tracks participants, young leaders from Black, Indigenous, LatinX, and other communities of color, young LGBTQ leaders, and young leaders with disabilities.

Applications from organizations will be considered if they are operating as a fiscal agent to a youth-led project. In the spirit of youth leadership, we request organizations not apply for programming or projects that are youth-based but not youth-initiated and led.
