Thank you for volunteering to help out with our UNC TV Pledge Drive Event.

Saturday, March 23rd starting at 6:15 P.M. to 11:30 P.M. (Please note training begins promptly at 6:30 P.M.)

10 T.W. Alexander Drive Durham, N.C. 27709 (UNC TV's Phone: 919-549-7000 Map: http://goo.gl/maps/DyRJa)

We will be taking pledges live on TV from UNC TV viewers. Please come dressed to show off your best Steampunk costuming! Costuming is not required but strongly encouraged.

UNC TV will be promoting ConTemporal 2013 live on air as part of this event. We must have a minimum of 20 volunteers to qualify for promotion. Please invite your friends, family and anyone interested in Steampunk and ConTemporal.

The Details:
UNC TV will provide training on how to handle calls and floor captains will be available to help us with any problems we might encounter. The entire process is very easy. Typically, we will be on air for 15 or 20 minutes and then go on break, where we will have the opportunity to sample some great food, donated by some of the best restaurants in the triangle area. Usually, the dinner they serve on Saturday night is wonderful! The rest of the evening will be light snacks. This is an excellent opportunity to meet new people on the set from all over the area, and don't forget that these programs are viewed throughout ALL of North Carolina, southern Virginia, northern South Carolina, and eastern Tennessee. We have the potential of reaching MILLIONS. And all this costs us is one night of our time dressing the way we enjoy and answering phones. Oh yeah, and eating great food! You will receive a free year's subscription to Centerpiece, their monthly program book. Anyone is welcome to volunteer for this event.

Space is limited for this event so please sign up early. We will email a reminder shortly before the event.

Many thanks to J.R Fisher and UNC TV for arranging this opportunity for us.
