If you are selected for a sliding scale spot with us, you will not be turned away for lack of funds.
All of our sliding scale memberships are for a duration of 6 months. At that point we will revisit the membership with you and determine if you would like to renew.
We review sliding scale applications at the middle of each month to start new members the first of the following month. So you will be contacted after that review has taken place.
We have limited space for sliding scale members, and here are the considerations we make when we are selecting new members:
- A complete and thoughtfully application with detailed information about the applicant
- The ability to commit to 3x per week classes and be an active member of our community
- Priority will be given to Black, Indigenous, People of Color and Trans people
- We will also give priority to people with disabilities
The majority of our members are White & Queer, so those identifiers will not take priority at this time.
There are a limited amount of dollars available each month, so please keep that in mind when you complete your application
