By deciding to foster/volunteer, I understand that I will come into contact with many animals, and that I may not know the temperament and or/history of any animal that I will interact with or generally handle. Further, I understand that even if I am familiar with a certain animal, that animal is still capable of injuring me at any time.

By signing below, I certify that I am aware that Rescue Ridge, Inc, carries insurance to provide coverage for injuries sustained by the general public, and legal defense, should a member of the general public be injured by one of our animals resulting in a lawsuit being filed against us. In addition, Rescue Ridge, Inc., carries an umbrella policy to protect the Board of Trustee(s) from being sued individually for any injury incurred by the general public as a result of the actions of our animals.

BOTH INSURANCE POLICIES SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDE COVERAGE FOR INJURIES SUSTAINED BY FOSTER/VOLUNTEERS.

By becoming a Rescue Ridge foster/volunteer, I am assuming the risk of working with homeless, injured and or stray animals, And Expressly Agree Not to Bring Any Action Against the Following but Not Inclusive of: RESCUE RIDGE, INC., MARYBETH TKACH, WILLIAM J. HIRST, HOWARD F. MALSBURY AKA BUTCH AND CHERRY LANE KENNELS, HIGHLAND KENNELS, PETSMART, OCEAN, HOWELL, MANALAPAN & WEST LONG BRANCH, PET SUPPLIES PLUS, WALL & JACKSON. THE THREE OF US LLC, OR ANY OTHER FOSTER/VOLUNTEER OR BOARD MEMBER WHETHER PERSONALLY OR BY MAKING CLAIM AGAINST ANY FOSTER/VOLUNTEERS HOMEOWNER’S INSURANCE POLICY, for injuries sustained by myself or any family member that I may bring on premises while fostering/volunteering or visiting the animals.
