ESSER III - Stakeholder Engagement Survey for allocation of funds. On March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was signed into law. These funds have been allocated for the purpose of providing local educational agencies (LEAs) with emergency relief funds to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools. Of the funds allocated, 20% must be set aside by each site to address learning loss. In addition, schools must gain input from stakeholders in developing the plan to utilize the funds. District 125 is required to submit a plan that addresses needs due to COVID-19 and the continuation of safe in-person instruction at schools. District 125 is seeking public input from diverse stakeholders in order to obtain essential feedback in developing a plan that best meets the needs of students, families, educators, communities, and stakeholders.
