Why do you want to be part of the Women's Initiative? *
One of the strengths of our presentations is a hands-on activity that engages the students and teaches them a fundamental aspect of STEM. Come up with a 20-min long, hands-on activity that is high school-age-appropriate and illustrates an important concept in your STEM field of study (or in any STEM field if you do not study STEM) and briefly explain it. *
Describe one meaningful mentoring experience you've had in the past, either as the mentor or mentee. *
The purpose of Women's Initiative is not to promote MIT. However, many students ask how to get into MIT. How would you respond to such a question? *
